Anyone interested in this fine hobby is welcome to attend any of
our meetings, events,
or visit our field during any of our flying sessions.
Members can
usually be found at the Club Field Tuesday mornings after 10 AM, Wednesday
nights after 630 PM (our informal training nights),
most every Sunday
after 12 PM, or sometimes, if too windy, Sunday evenings.
It is the time of year again when we begin to move our activities indoors.
The contract has once again been signed with the Catholic School Board for use of Bishop Gallagher gymnasium.
The schedule is as follows:
25 Tuesday evenings in all. 6:30-9 PM

Vacation "No-Fly" dates are: December 27, January 3, and March 13.
Please Note: Helicopters of any type other than rubber powered will not be permitted,
and current MAAC or AMA is mandatory, as is compliance with current club and MAAC Safety Guidelines.

Take Highway 61 South, and turn right at McCluskey Drive. We are at the intersection of Highway 130 and McCluskey Drive. GPS coordinates for those that want to know should be about +48° 18'33.48" -89° 28'15.27" and we are 717' ASL. Look for the full size aircraft, the field entrance is off of Highway 130. You must drive in, but be careful please! Our field which is gratefully provided to us by Moravia Inc & Afortek and is part of a full size aircraft landing strip that does see occasional full size traffic, along with of course, frequent inflight model aircraft

The field appears to have survived winter well.
Grass cutting commenced Thursday June 02, and will continue on subsequent Mondays thereafter. Cut raindate is Tuesday.

The field was rolled on Saturday May 24. Thanks go out to Mr. Bruno DiGregorio of Bruno's Contracting, who once again was kind enough to provide us with the loan of one of his Bomag walk behind rollers.
Thanks also go out to Steve Bachanek, John Clarke, Don Hart, Jim Lorezel, Jim Milne (for the loan of the trailer as well), and Darrell Watt for coming out to lend a hand.
Thanks as well to Mr. Tony Racco of Rugged Air Systems/Racco Industrial Roofing for cutting and providing us with the aluminum sheet for our new frequency board.
All that remains now is to get out and fly!
